good day yesterday. Nancy at the Community Mercantile bought my whole three dozen series, so after a couple years off, i'll have my stuff at the Merc again. a few years ago, i did multi picture placemats for the Merc deli, and had my stuff on the wall for a year or two, changing it every few months. then a couple at the brewery who were back after being poor and going to school here in the seventys, were not dressed poor anymore. she picked out a dozen from my series. i was sitting next to a woman for awhile in the "living room" at the brewery, and ice came down on our heads, she bought some cards too, so i had a bowl of soup.

last week i finally started to spiff up the online store
i put a pic of the stone archway at the top of the online store pages (the arch above the old stone building the glass guys blow in)
changed the font colors, and in internet explorer (at least} got rid of the boarders around the art, they still seem to be there with netscape
anyway, it looks pretty good
now i gotta figure how to add a way back from the online store to the rest of the catalog, and what i plan to do right now is to add the long awaited policy statements, privacy, return, shipping.
gonna make the shipping a straight added 10% within US, we may pay more to UPS than that, but what could happen, too many orders? i'm ready for it!

just put new picture on very first page of FreeStateGlass.com
the last first page was a pic of dick and jim pouring glass, they poured two bricks (there are bricks in some of our sidewalks that have Lawrence, Kansas on them, these are glass version, first rubber mold, then a plaster mold they push into sand they sift first. fun to watch) that was all yesterday when i took the pic that now is on the front page, the new pick is of blowing glass which is what they do most.
